libraryThe MD/PhD Program is open to qualified applicants, regardless of state residence. The Program is open to applicants with undergraduate or Masters degrees and to students currently enrolled in the MD program.

Applicants to the Program are required to meet the admissions requirements of the School of Medicine http://www.umaryland.edu/students. You must first submit an AMCAS application. After receipt of the AMCAS application by the Admissions office, applicants will be notified by e-mail how to access the secondary application. Criteria for admission include MCAT scores, undergraduate/graduate academic records, letters of recommendation and documented research experience. 

Based on the above criteria, selected applicants will be invited to a two-day interview with the MD/PhD Program and the School of Medicine. Admission to the MD/PhD Program is determined by the MD/PhD Advisory Committee, in consultation with the Medical School Admissions Committee.

2009-2010 Interview Dates :

December 7 and 8, 2009

January 11 and 12, 2010

February 22 and 23, 2010
